Matt’s Week 6 NFL Picks
I stayed away from the college game yesterday because I didn’t have a ton of time to research and didn’t want to throw out poor picks and lose some readers! Onto the week 6 picks. Small card this week.
Detroit Lions -5 vs. San Francisco / 3 units
Detroit at home in the dome with that D Line against Alex Smith only giving 5 points is a bet I will gladly take. Jason Hanson isn’t missing any late FG’s, and Megatron will get back on the two TD train and roll to a TD win. Detroit wins this 27-20.
Washington Redskins +3 vs. Philadelphia / 1 unit
I am going against T.B.G here. Washington’s strengths match up great against the Eagles weaknesses. The 3 headed monster of Torain, Hightower, and Helu will shred the Eagles awful run D. The Redskins also have some very serviceable TE’s to work the middle of the field against the Redskins suspect Linebackers and Safeties. Everyone remembers Vick torching the Redskins for 50 fantasy points on Monday night last year. But this is a different Redskins team. Holding this to a low play because the Eagles are due, and Reid usually has them ready in must win games.
Minnesota +2 @ Chicago /2 units
Minnesota is not as bad as their record indicates. They could very easily be 4-1. It finally hit them last week that just giving the damn ball to AD gets W’s. The Bears run D is giving up 135 YPG on the ground, and with Peppers out, I think the Vikings pull out the road win.
Our “Fuck it, let’s make some money” Parlay of the Week. / 2 units to win 6.4 units.
6 Teams Moneyline for all 6, Packers (-1200), Steelers (-700), Lions (-240), Ravens (-300), Saints (-290), and Jets (-300).
