Matt’s Week 8 College Football

Well West Virginia shit the bed last night. Hopefully our followers didn’t get that pick in. On to Saturday’s games.

Stanford -20 vs. Washington / 2 units

Both teams are covering at an amazing rate with Washington 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 and Stanford 11-0-1 ATS in their last 12. Everyone says that Stanford hasn’t played anyone, but the same can be said for Washington. Washington’s only formidable opponent was @Nebraska, and they scored 2 late TDs against the backups to cover the spread. Keith Price is better then Jake Locker, but Andrew Luck and the Stanford D will continue to roll here.

Wisconsin -7 @ Michigan St. / 3 units

Mike Dantonio is 1-8 ATS as a 3.5-10 point underdog, with most these games being decided by 3+ TD’s. To put it simply, they win the games they should and lose the games they should, which makes the fans happy in East Lansing. Wisconsin is too balanced on offense and should force Michigan St. to go one dimensional while taking the crowd out if the game.

Miami -2.5 vs. Georgia Tech / 3 units

Miami has finally got it together on the offensive side of the ball, and should get up early to force Ga. Tech one dimensional. The best way to stop the triple option on D is speed, and I would venture to say Miami’s D Tackles are quicker than Kansas’ and Virginia’s Linebackers. Miami should roll here while getting back on track to the Coastal Division title.
