With the week 7 lines out there are two underdogs that really came as surprises this week.  I love them getting points and wouldn’t be surprised to see the line swing in their direction later this week.

NYJ +2 vs San Diego

The Jets are coming off a big and much needed win on Monday Night Football (albeit over a terrible Miami team) and are hosting the (as previously mentioned) over-hyped Chargers.  The Chargers are favored here because of their inflated record against sub-par competition thus far.  I like how the Jets seem to be coming together and think their Defense matches up well against the Chargers.  Combine that with them taking the cross-country trip (west to east) in an early game and I’ll take the green machine w/ points all day.

Denver +1.5 @ Miami

After watching Miami on MNF against the Jets I can’t imagine them laying points to anyone.  The Fighting Tebows seem to be re-energized w/ #15 at the helm and I like the to run the ball all over the Miami defense (who seems hell bent on ensuring that Andrew Luck is their QB in 2012).  Give me the Broncos and the points.  Boom.
