Week 5 w/ T.B.G.

Its been a rough go for T.B.G. thus far in the NFL season, sitting at a mere 5-7 (-3.5 units)

Week 5:

#1- San Diego -3.5 @ Denver

San Diego has avoided their normal early season slump so far this year, mainly because they’ve played 3 bottom feeders. However, in the NFL a win is a win…and they’ve accomplished those three wins w/ well below normal play from Pre-Season MVP candidate Philip Rivers. This week Rivers gets it back on track against an awful Denver pass defense. The Broncos will be playing from behind most of the game and continuing to put pressure on Kyle Orton, will this be the week we finally see Tim Tebow? If it is, that makes laying the 3.5 sound even better.

#2 – Green Bay -5.5 @ Atlanta

Green Bays offense has been lighting up the scoreboard all year, while the Falcons are giving up over 26 pts a game. The people’s champ will make quick work of these dirty birds and move on to 5-0.

#3 – Indianapolis -2 vs Kansas City

Believe it or not, Indy w/out Manning isn’t THAT bad. They’ve had a tough go of it so far they’ve played a difficult schedule and been wavering at the QB position. Kerry Collins was a band-aid for a gunshot wound. Painter has been w/ the organization learned from Manning and already has a relationship w/ his receivers. The team is buying in and playing hard for him. They don’t want to be 0-5, and they won’t be. Kansas City w/ out Charles is THAT bad.

#4 – NYG -9.5 vs Seattle

The Giants appear to be for real, and Seattle starts Tavaris Jackson.

****Upset Special****

Carolina +6.5 vs New Orleans

Killer Cam and crew have a nasty little habit of playing to to the level of their competition…this week that bodes well for them. A good New Orleans team is coming to town this week fresh off a 3 game winning street. These two have nearly identical offensive statistics and very similar defensive outputs. The Saints D is weak against the pass and hasn’t seen any QB w/ the mobility and willingness to run like Cam Newton. Expect a big day from #1 and a second NFL victory under his belt.
